If work and life are separate entities that need to be 'balanced', then this is ostensibly my 'life' blog... Here I take a look at issues that are important to me and share stories about my friends and family (obvs with their consent!).

Top of my importance list is my role as mum to Senan and Sadie and stepmum to Orla and the wider part I play in the Wilson-Conway family. As their mother, I obviously think my kids are hilarious and cute and want to share that with the world, but I also think a lot about motherhood and sisterhood in general and think this might be a good home for those musings.

But fear not - it's not all navel gazing, I also have 'life' interests: I am passionate about the natural environment and politics and I get a little riled up about football now and then too. So this blog is an occasional update on my (often failed) attempts to live "the good life" ...
